Before and after: Anode for Honda outboard motor

Here you can see the before picture, which shows the condition of the anode before it was replaced.

 

This is a Honda BF8 equipped with a zinc anode of reference 41106-ZW9-000.

 

The Honda BF 8-50 hp outboard engines are known for their efficiency, reliability and smooth running. These 4-stroke engines offer excellent performance with low fuel consumption and are ideal for small to medium-sized boats.

 

This worn anode shows that it has successfully fulfilled its protective function by protecting the metal parts of the engine from corrosion.
